As Yahoo prepares to
roll-out their own version of AdSense, you need to get educated
about some ways Yahoo can actually HURT you.
The talk around town is
that Yahoo is actually delisting sites that include Google
AdSense ads on them. The only way to avoid delisting is to cloak
your AdSense code. The problem is that Google prohibits it.
With this powerful PHP
script, you may actually be able to keep web sites and web pages
built with page generator software stay indexed longer in the search
engines.
Now this is tricky
business. If you want to make money with both Yahoo and Google
advertising, you need to be sure that you do not violate either
company's usage rules. Remember, modifications to Google AdSense
code will get you banned faster than you can say, "I'm
sorry!"
Basically, this handy
PHP script looks at the IP address accessing your web page, and if
it comes from a Yahoo robot it displays only Yahoo code, and if it
comes from Google's spider it displays only Google code. Pretty nice
work, eh?
